NOTIFICATION
No. 18/2000-Central Excise (N.T.), dated 1-3-2000.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21/99-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 28th February, G.S.R. 182 (E) dated the 28th February, 1999, namely:- (1) in paragraph I:- (i) in clause (c)-

(a) in sub-clause (ii), for the words, figures and signs sub-heading Nos. 5402.20, 5402.32, 5402.42, 5402.43, 5402.52 and 5402.62″ the following words, figure and signs shall be substituted, namely:-

“sub-heading nos. 5402.20, 5402.32, 5402.42, 5402.43, 5402.52, 5402.62, 8702.10, 8703.90, 8706.21 and 8706.39;” (2) in paragraph 2, in clause (a) for the words “First Schedule” the following words shall be substituted, namely:-

“First Schedule and Second Schedule”
