Order under section 138(1)(a) of Income-tax Act, 1961
1. The Central Board of Direct taxes, in exercise of its powers under section 138(1)(a) of Income- tax Act, 1961 (`Act’) and in partial modification of its earlier order dated 21.07.2020, hereby directs that following agency is inserted in the said order at SI. No. 11 of Para 1:
11. State Police Agencies as notified by the Central Government in connection with NATGRID project
2. To facilitate the process of furnishing and receiving information, Memorandum of Understanding (‘MoU’) entered between Director General of Income-tax (Systems) and NATGRID shall be suitably amended to include the State Police Agencies notified by the Central Government in connection with NATGRID Project.
3. A copy of amended MoU shall be forwarded to this division for record purposes.
4. All other contents of the said order will remain unchanged.
