NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th September, 2020

S.O. 3377(E).––In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 53 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (10 of 1949), the Central Government, on the recommendation of the Reserve Bank of India, hereby declare that the provisions of section 31 read with clause (t) of section 56 of the said Act shall not apply to primary co-operative banks till 31^st December, 2020.
