Chartered Accountant or CA aspirants are everywhere in India and also nowadays one of the most promising careers even in overseas. Professional CA courses provided by The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) involves a string of three year training period. A professional three level CA program includes Foundation, Intermediate and Final Courses.

Eligibility –
It is mandatory to clear 10+2 examination to enroll your name for a professional three years CA course from any recognized board or university. Aspirants from any educational stream can apply for the course. After clearing the 10+2 examination, students are eligible to fill the forms for CA entry-level foundation program. It is a four months training course. After finishing these four months of training, the candidate has to appear for the CA Foundation Course Examination.
Course – levels and duration –
As discussed earlier, the CA program has three different levels. Foundation, Intermediate and Final Courses. It’s also mentioned above that minimum eligibility to apply for a CA course is 10+2. You can pursue with the CA foundation course (4 months) and examination simultaneously with B.Com. After your graduation, you are eligible to pursue the CA Intermediate course (8 months) and examination. Finally, the candidate must finish his/her articleship (3 years), then clear the final exam. So the span of a professional CA course is almost 4 to 5 years after 12th.
Probability of Clearing the exam –
Chartered Accountancy is one among the most privileged courses and is one of its kinds.
