All Chief Commissioners/ Directors General/ Commissioners in-charge under the Central Board of Excise and Customs.

Subject: Filling up of the post of Joint Secretary (Customs) in the Central Board of Excise & Customs under the Revenue Headquarters-reg.

I am directed to say that the post of Joint Secretary (Customs) in the Central Board of Excise & Customs under the Revenue Headquarters is proposed to be filled up from among the eligible officers of IRS (C&CE) cadre. IRS (C&CE) officer in the grade of Commissioner of Customs & Central Excise is eligible for the said post.

2. It is requested that the above vacancy may be circulated amongst all the eligible officers under your charge. The applications of the willing and eligible officers along with their bio-data may be sent through proper channel to the Board latest by 05.03.2015.
