PUBLIC NOTICE No. 42(RE-2006)/2004-09
NEW DELHI : Dated: 3rd August, 2006
Subject: Import of 5 lakh MTs of wheat at zero duty (Public Notice No. 87(RE-2005)/2004-09 dated 9.2.2006).
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies as follows:
1. The import will be made by 28.2.2007 instead of 31.8.2006.
2. The Public Notice No. 87(RE-2005)/2004-09 dated 9.2.2006 shall also be applicable in cases where State Trading Corporation(STC) transfers the title of imported wheat to Food Corporation of India(FCI) on high sea sale basis.
This issues in public interest.
