Subject: Procedure for import of various items under Tariff Rate Quota(TRQ).
In exercise of powers conferred under Para 2.4 of Export and Import Policy,2002-2007,the DGFT makes the following corrections in para 2.60 of the Handbook of Procedures ,Vol I:
1. The quota for Tariff Code No.0402.10 or 0402.21 to read as 10,000 MTs instead of 150,000 MTs.
2. At Sr.No.2,the Tariff Code No.1512.11 will be omitted. The Tariff Code for Maize (corn):others shall be read as 1005.90.
This issues in the public interest.
