NOTIFICATION NO. 48 (RE-2007)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED 12th November, 2007

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2004-2009, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in FTP, 2004-2009 (RE 2006).

2. The following sentence stands added at the end of paragraph 2.31 of FTP:-

“Government of India officials proceeding abroad on official postings shall, however, be permitted to carry alongwith their personal baggage, food items (free, restricted or prohibited) strictly for their personal consumption.”

3. This issues in Public interest.
