NOTIFICATION NO. 56 (RE-2006)/2004-2009

NEW DELHI, DATED 29th March, 2007

S.O. (E) – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends the Notification No. 38 (RE-2006)/2004-09 dated 22nd December, 2006, as under :

1. The existing policy for items falling at Exim Codes 1001 10 90 (Durum Wheat: Other) and 1001 90 20 (Other Wheat) shall remain in abeyance till 31st December, 2007. During this period import of these items will be allowed freely.

2. This issues in public interest.
