Notification No. 57 (RE-2005), dated March 31, 2006, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, announces the abolition of the Target Plus Scheme under the Foreign Trade Policy (2004–2009). This scheme, detailed in Para 3.7 and its sub-paras 3.7.1 to 3.7.8, provided benefits for exporters achieving incremental growth. The notification specifies that the scheme is abolished for exports made from April 1, 2006, onward, and all related provisions are deleted from the policy. This change aims to streamline export incentive programs and aligns with the updated trade policy.

NOTIFICATION No. 57 (RE-2005)/2004-2009

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 (updated w.e.f.1.4.2005):

Para 3.7 – Target Plus Scheme stands abolished for exports from 1.4.2006 onwards. This para including sub para 3.7.1 to 3.7.8 there under is deleted w.e.f.1.4.2006.
