PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 64 (RE-98)/1997-2002.

New Delhi , Dated 31^ST DECEMBER, 1998

Attention is invited to the Public Notice No. 26/97-2002, dated 14^th July, 1997, wherein the conditions and procedures to be followed in respect of export of Sandalwood in the form of heartwood chips, mixed chips, flakes of the Sandalwood Classes mentioned in Annexure I to the said Public Notice, Sapwood chips/powder and Sandalwood dust obtained as waste after the manufacturing process have been specified.

2. The Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Public Notice No. 26/97-2002, dated 14^th July, 1997:

“The date of 31^st October, 1998 appearing in Paragraph 8 of Public Notice No. 26/1997-2002 dated 14^th July, 1997 amended vide Public Notice No. 3( RE-98)/1997-2002 dated 13^th April, 1998 shall be further amended to read as 31^st March, 1999.”

3. All other condidtions of the above mentioned Public Notice shall however remain unchanged.

4. This issues in Public interest.
