DGFT notification on Prohibition on Export of Edible Oils

DGFT Notification No. 07 dated 30th September 2010

Subject: Prohibition on Export of Edible Oils – regarding

S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 read with Section 3(2) of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) and also read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby amends, with immediate effect, Notification No.85 (RE-2007)/2004-2009 dated 17.3.2008 read with Notification No.60 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 20^th November, 2008, Notification No.33 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 19^th August, 2008, Notification No.98 (RE-2008)/2004-2009 dated 17.3.2009, Notification No.04/2009-2014 dated 04.09.2009 and Notification No.18/2009-2014 dated 02.12.2009, as amended from time to time.

2. Para 3 of the Notification No. 85 dated 17.3.2008 stands substituted as following:

“3. The ban imposed vide this Notification shall be applicable upto 30.09.2011.”

3. The above ban, however, shall not be applicable to relaxations / exemptions granted vide Notification No.33 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 19^th August, 2008, and Notification No.60 (RE-2008)/2004-09 dated 20.11.2008 read with Notification No.18/2009-2014 dated 02.12.2009, respectively.
