G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 136/90-Customs, dated the 20th March, 1990 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R.366 (E), dated the 20th March, 1990, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, in column (2), for the entries, at both the places, the entries “3 5% ad valorem ” shall be substituted.

Note: The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 366 (E), dated the 20th March, 1990 and was last amended by notification No.33/2004-Customs (N.T.), dated the 3rd February, 2004 and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 90 (E), dated the 3rd February, 2004.
