Bajaj Auto Limited has reported a significant increase in its sales figures for October 2026, according to a press release issued by the company. The total sales for the month, encompassing both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, reached 5,91,876 units, marking a 14% rise compared to the 5,18,170 units sold in October 2025.
In the two-wheeler segment, domestic sales rose by 10% to 2,92,885 units from 2,66,470 units in the same month last year. Exports of two-wheelers saw an even more substantial increase, climbing 18% to 2,08,309 units from 1,75,846 units in October 2025. This brought the total two-wheeler sales to 5,01,194 units, reflecting a 13% year-on-year growth.
The commercial vehicles segment also demonstrated strong performance, with domestic sales increasing by 22% to 58,263 units from 47,678 units in October 2025. Overall, the commercial vehicles segment recorded a 20% increase in sales, totalling 90,682 units for the month.
Year-to-date figures from April to October 2026 further underscore Bajaj Auto’s growth trajectory. The company reported a 22% increase in total sales, with 35,79,011 units sold compared to 29,23,527 units in the same period last year. Notably, exports have been a significant driver of this growth, with a 42% rise in two-wheeler exports and a 39% increase in commercial vehicle exports over the same period.
Analysts attribute Bajaj Auto’s robust performance to its strategic focus on expanding its export markets and strengthening its domestic presence. The company’s ability to capitalise on growing demand, both locally and internationally, has positioned it favourably in the competitive automotive sector. As the global economic environment continues to evolve, Bajaj Auto’s consistent sales growth suggests resilience and adaptability in its operational strategies.
