Summary: The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, through Public Notice No. 36/2026-27 dated 23 October 2026, has notified four new Standard Input-Output Norms (SIONs), numbered A-3715, A-3716, A-3717 and A-3718, under the Chemical and Allied Product category, Product Code ‘A’. Under SION A-3715, the export product is Doxycycline Tablets, USP 50 MG 100 S, with an export quantity of one number and an import quantity of 54.84 mg of Doxycycline USP (Monohydrate). SION A-3716 covers Doxycycline Tablets, USP 100 MG 50 S, while SION A-3717 covers Doxycycline Tablets, USP 100 MG 500 S. Both prescribe an export quantity of one number and an import quantity of 109.68 mg of Doxycycline USP (Monohydrate). Under SION A-3718, the prescribed import quantity is 1.08 kg of Betamethasone 17-Propionate for an export quantity of one kg of Clobetasol Propionate BP/EP/USP. The stated effect of the notice is to facilitate expeditious issuance of Advance Authorisations by Regional Authorities and ensure uniformity in the application of norms.

Subject: Fixation of four new Standard Input-Output Norms (SIONs) at SION Nos. A-3715, A-3716, A-3717 & A-3718 under “Chemical and Allied Product” (Product Code-‘A’).
In exercise of the powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy-2023 as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies the four new SIONs with Serial Number Nos. A-3715, A-3716, A-3717 & A-3718. These new entries shall be as under:-
