The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s leading hospitality enterprise, has announced its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2027, marking its eighteenth consecutive record-breaking quarter. The company reported consolidated revenue of INR 2,566 crores, representing a 21% increase compared to the same period last year. This robust performance has prompted IHCL to upgrade its revenue growth guidance for FY2027 from 12-14% to 15-17%.

IHCL’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, attributed the company’s success to its scalable and diversified operating model, which has ensured consistent growth while maintaining strong margins. The quarter saw an EBITDA of INR 788 crores, with a margin of 30.7%, and a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 349 crores, up 23% from the previous year. Key revenue drivers included a 25% increase in revenue per available room (RevPAR) from domestic same-store hotels, a 25% rise in management fee income due to new openings, and significant contributions from recent acquisitions, Brij and Atmantan.

IHCL’s portfolio now encompasses 670 hotels, following 47 signings in the first half of FY2027. The company is on track to achieve its Accelerate 2030 target of a 700-hotel portfolio ahead of schedule. The standalone performance of IHCL was also noteworthy, with operating revenue reaching INR 1,336 crores, a 26% increase, and operating EBITDA growing by 40% to INR 520 crores. The standalone PAT rose by 36% to INR 393 crores, driven by a 28% growth in RevPAR for full-service same-store hotels and contributions from renovated assets in key markets.

The company also announced a merger with Oriental Hotels Limited (OHL), aimed at simplifying its group structure and enhancing asset management opportunities. This strategic move is expected to accelerate long-term revenue growth. As of September 30, 2026, IHCL reported a strong balance sheet with gross cash reserves of INR 4,369 crores.

Market analysts view IHCL’s upgraded revenue guidance and strategic expansions positively, noting the company’s ability to leverage its diversified brand portfolio and capitalise on high-demand periods. With a strong pipeline and continued growth in both domestic and international markets, IHCL is well-positioned to maintain its leadership in the hospitality sector.
