The Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), a Government of India enterprise, has announced the approval of its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ending 30th September 2026. The Board of Directors, during a meeting held on 15th October 2026, also declared an interim dividend of Rs. 1 per equity share for the financial year 2026-27. This decision aligns with the applicable provisions of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The financial results, reviewed by the Audit Committee, include the Cash Flow Statement and the Statement of Assets and Liabilities as of the end of September 2026. The Board has taken these results on record, and a press release accompanying the financial results has been issued. The interim dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear as beneficial owners in the depository records or as members in the register of members as of the record date, 23rd October 2026. The dividend payment is expected to be completed within 30 days from the date of declaration.

In accordance with recent amendments to the Listing Regulations, the dividend will be disbursed exclusively through electronic means. Shareholders are advised to update their bank account details to ensure seamless credit of dividends. Those holding shares in dematerialised form should contact their depository participants, while those with physical shares should reach out to the company’s Registrar and Transfer Agent.

Additionally, the Board has approved the Policy for Transition to the NBFC Upper Layer Regulatory Framework. This move is part of IRFC’s strategic alignment with evolving regulatory requirements. Analysts note that the declaration of an interim dividend reflects the company’s robust financial health and its commitment to delivering value to shareholders. The market will be closely watching how IRFC navigates the regulatory transition and its impact on future financial performance.
