The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), through Circular No. IBBI/COMP/102/2026 dated June 3, 2026, has notified a standardized format for filing complaints under Regulation 3(3) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Grievance and Complaint Handling Procedure) Regulations, 2017. The prescribed form requires complainants to provide detailed information, including their identity, contact details, particulars of the service provider or associated person against whom the complaint is made, and specifics of the alleged contravention of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, rules, regulations, guidelines, circulars, or directions. The form also mandates disclosure of the nature of the alleged misconduct, evidence supporting the complaint, details of loss or suffering caused, and the relief sought. Complainants must indicate whether the complaint is filed within 45 days of the cause of action, pay a fee of ₹2,500, and may request confidentiality of their identity. The circular aims to ensure uniformity, transparency, and efficiency in complaint processing.
