P S Thakre is a Practicing Company Secretary (PCS) in Mumbai, Maharashtra & runs his PCS Firm called P S Thakre & Co. based out in Mumbai. He has completed graduation in commerce (B.Com) from Nagpur University and then completed his Company Secretaries Professional Degree from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in the year 2015. After completing CS degree he started working with an Infrastructure company in Hyderabad (listed on BSE & Luxemburg Stock Exchanges) & moved to Delhi with a same company to get better exposure on the side of legal intricacies of infrastructure companies. Due to his passion for corporate litigation he joined a corporate legal Firm in Hyderabad & gained substantial exposure of corporate litigation including NCLT practice, IBC, Mergers, Investment deals & FEMA. In 2018 he took a plunge & started off his own PCS Firm in Mumbai mainly focused on corporate litigation happens in National Company Law Tribunal including Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, Mergers, Oppression & Mismanagement, Capital reduction etc. He also consults Insolvency Professionals & Liquidators & represents them before Tribunals and provide transaction advisory & execution to other stakeholders in the IBC regime including potential bidders for acquiring companies under Insolvency Process.
