Delhi VAT
Delhi Government is now taking the smart decisions and updating the field of assessee for the smooth working and record of the Tax registered and non-registered dealers. The Department had issued a Notf. No. 585–596 dated 15.12.2014, which states that as it is mandatory for all registered dealers to inform the Commissioner about any change effected in the registration particulars; therefore, it has been considered necessary that the dealer profile of ALL the registered dealers should be updated.
Extended due date is 31st March, 2015 for fresh filing and edit/Updation of DP.
Haryana VAT
It’s the online world where all the department and economy of the world working in the computerized environment, so the Haryana government has also entered their step to make their working online for easy access from anywhere.
The gist of the public notice has been given below for ease of reference:
Excise & Taxation Department, Haryana is undertaking a comprehensive computerization of all its activities for the dealers registered under the Haryana Value Added Act, 2003 (HVAT,2003)
To enable the online process and generating the User ID & password, each dealer has to provide their e-mail, mobile no. and copy of PAN No. to their respective wards before 12th March 15 in prescribed format
Rajasthan VAT
Online Applications for Appeal
- Facility to be provided for filing online application for appeal against assessment orders (VAT-27) and condonation of delay (VAT-28). So the time consuming job has now been relaxed and even the department can also maintain the record easily.
- Facility shall also be provided for online tracking of these appeals and application for registration.
- Hardcopy of return shall not be needed after filing the return online in all cases, if consent to use website has been time undertaking is given by the dealer.
- The provision of minimum late fee of Rs 1000 for late filing of return by dealers who have tax liability is being relaxed.
- There will be a single return for all four taxes namely VAT, CST, Entry Tax and Luxury Tax by integrating them.
Bihar VAT
Bihar government enhance surcharge on Motor Spirit, High speed diesel oil from 10% to 20% w.e.f 9th March,2015, which is going to impact the every sector of the industry including the living standard of the consumers, so whether the government is really doing in the favor of the assessee of still trying to fill their own pocket.
