Summary: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA Intermediate Examination held in September 2026. According to its press release, 1,60,887 candidates were admitted to the examination, conducted across 583 centres in India and abroad. The result analysis records 23,210 successful candidates out of 1,00,301 who appeared in the first individual-group row, representing a pass percentage of 23.14%. The second individual-group row records 12,938 successful candidates out of 68,400, with a pass percentage of 18.92%. Both rows are labelled “Group- I” in the release. For both groups, 5,066 of the 38,339 candidates who appeared passed, giving a pass percentage of 13.21%. Neel Rajesh Shah from Mumbai and Chandak Sakshi from Nashik jointly secured the All India first rank, each scoring 502 marks and 83.67%. Shruti V from Chennai secured the second rank with 492 marks and 82.00%, while Prem Agarwal from Surat secured the third rank with 490 marks and 81.67%. ICAI President CA. Prasanna Kumar D congratulated the successful candidates and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence and contribute to society, the profession and national growth.
