E filling for AY2021-2022, not available in income tax website. It is reported it would be available after June,7th,2021,why?Small taxpayers like pensioner, low ranking salaried people who are ln large number and except salary or pension etc who form largest in number of total tax payers lost two months time to file their return, when return filling traffic is very low.Goverment and officials were very slow to make efilling portal working from from 1st April for all.

I SAY AND CLAIM THAT, WHY THE TIME LIMITS ARE THERE FOR REVISED RETURN? IN FACT THERE SHOULD NOT BE TIME LIMITS. CONSIDERATION BY THE AUTHORITY IS AFTER ALL THERE IS DISCRETION. SECONDLY FOR THE ASSESSMENT YEAR 2021-22 ALSO EVEN FORMS ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR E-FILLING, TIME LIMITS ARE EXTENDED FOR TDS RETURNS, DEPARTMENT INSISTS THE DATA MUST MATCH TO THE DATA IN 26AS. IN THAT CASE THE DUE DATE FOR FILING THE RETURN MUST BE AT LEAST AFTER FOUR MONTHS FROM THE DUE DATE FOR TDS RETURNS. हरि ओम.
