Shri Arun Jaitly Ji,
Hon’ble Finance Minister
Government of India

Dear Sir,

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and its members arc partners in “Nation Building” and playing important role in growth of Indian Economy.

Tax audit under section -44AB of the Income-tax Act. 1961 is exclusively conducted by Chartered Accountants and before making any change in the format of tax audit report ICAI has always been consulted by the CBDT. This time also The Direct Tax Committee of ICAI was consulted and DTC gave, its suggestions regarding required changes, well in time hut the changes have been affected too late and one such change has been affected on 19.09.2018.

Besides it Turnover under GST and Income Tax is also to he reconciled which need some more time. Sir your good self might know that due date for filing personal and unaudited returns were extended from 31.07.2018 to 31.08.2018 and we professionals are already late by one month.

Sir in such a situation Chartered Accountants are facing problems in conducting error free Tax Audits and request your good self to extend due date for submission of Tax Audit Reports and Income Tax Returns from 30 September, 2018 to 31 October, 2018 in the case of corporate assesses and where tax audit is applicable so that quality of Tax Audits may not be compromised.

Thanking you Sir in anticipation.

Yours faithfully

The govt should/must have to extend the due date of tax audit upto 31st Oct 2018. Other wise all the general people along with entire professional will never take the matter as normal/correct. After several request of all the person over the India if govt will not extend the date and if penalty and late fess is imposed, it will not be correct decision for Govt.

after so many letter from different professional letters sent to finance minister he has not considered even 1 letter now from his party organisation ECONOMIC CELL
    BHARTIYA JANTA PARTY
RAJASTHAN has sent letter 3 days before he has agreed and considered the same
