    Respected Sir
Please tell us how we can submit our digital signature and there is any fee charges for submission in income tax e filing

  4. Nitin Tandle says:

I agree with Chartered Prabhu exactly same is the case with me. we can’t give such an advice to pay for DS alongwith our fees. Assessee is ready to pay any of the one.DSC is not a proper solution for the same. In Compititive Exam.UGC NET they are providing such facility by confirming an Appropriate Candidate.

If you want to reset your password just use your acknowledgment of previous year’s return and if still can’t do that just send a mail to the department.

    agreed with prabhu.
suggest that e-filing password should be linked with the password used for internet banking. Small assessees / mostly employees will use / enable internet banking. from there they should be directed to e-filing site-ask them to enter PAN No.-if this matches with the PAN No. provided to the bank then they should be enabled to change the password and / or file. THIS IS SUGGESTED ASSUMING THE PASSWORD OF THE BANK ACCOUNT WILL NORMALLY NOT BE GIVEN TO ANY BODY INCLUDING THEIR TAX CONSULTANT.

  11. DIPAK GULHANE says:

ITD has improved Password reset mechanism only for techsavy clients but forgot to consider option for Aam Aadmi who even dont even heard concept of DS.

ITD is really smart…..Crores of returns pending due to passowrd reset difficulties as ammended by ITD….Keep-it-Up!

  12. V. SHRI KUMAR says:

While the above change is welcomed, there is need for liberty to choose Used ID also to prevent hacking to a large extent possible. Hitherto, as per IT Department one has to necessarily choose one’s PAN No. only, which can be obtained with least difficulty. I suggest IT Department to please consider this aspect also for the benefit of tax payers.

  13. CA T NPRABHU says:

This cannot be a solution for all and sundry assessees, like a small TDS refund for Rs. 1000, how u can ask him to get DSC. or do you have a general solution so that a CA can register for the assessees. The real problem is when the assessee wants to change his efiler, if he does not have last years ack or other items of other criterias, it will be difficult to reset the password. please hurry up and inform
