More over it’s Dictatorship Govt. Just Behind all CA’s & Tax Professionals & Counsels. we have become a Target for all new complinaces which are just of no use. More than half of the I-T Assesses are uneducated, they rely on us. Moreover we are ordained on the whip into GST Complinaces now a new whip again on I-T. It is just embrassing situation being created for our Proffesionals

  2. Vijay Paikoti says:

Moreover, is this forced compliance to update mobile number and email ids of registered pan holders legally/constitutionally valid? Are you not forcing a pan holder to act against his wish? For example a registered pan holder may not be wishing to give his personal mobile number to anybody and may ask his consultant/CA to give their mobile numbers and email ids to manage his income tax matters. Now the dept restricting the use of mobile number and email ids to only 3 pan holders not violating the person’s right of privacy given by the Constitution of India? The best thing that the Dept could have done is just collect whatever the mobile number and email id given by the registered pan holder and update its records. Simple. If in future, the dept does not get proper response to any communication sent to such mobile/email id, the dept can hold the tax-payer in default and take appropriate legal action.

getting an additional SIm card is also difficult for senior citizens as biomatric has been made compusory. There are many aged persons whose signature the machine is unable to capture. So far there is no0 solution to this problem by UIDAI

One more step to keep the professionals busy in wasting their valuable time in doing unproductive work instead of using that time for progress of the country.

My client is uneducated but he’s earning rent of Rs. 2.5 lac a month. Yes he operates his mobile and I quote his number in ITR but he has never accessed email in his life. I have now decided that I will not give my email ID whether he files his ITR or not. Enough is enough… These frequent changes have got on my nerves. Ek to GST ke return, fir sumit ke return aur ab ye login changes. Mujhe to ab ye kaam kerne se irritation hone lagi hai. Thinking of leaving the practice. Bahut badi galti ker di is govt ko vote de ker.

  6. A.K. Jain says:

It is a very bad decision of present government. In a joint family, there are many senior citizen and many above 75 years and present govt feels that they would file their own return and keep a track of communication received from IT Department through SMS/e-mail. Moreover, bank account details are already given at the time of filling the return. It is not understood as to why these details are required again and that too for login. The Govt. should withdraw the notification.

  7. GANDHI MOHAN BHARATI says:

IT Department may now ask daily cash transactions such as even to which vendor one paid Rs.5/- for tea, his name PAN, Bank A.c details to verify whether that person is hiding Black Money and evading GST.
All daily transactions including electronic transaction must be reported; this is to check that the electronic transactions are correctly reported by both parties.
Yes Jaitely sahib wants everything from common man. Rich keep fighting in courts and Govt says Law will take its own course. It is only the honest tax payer who is harassed because we cannot afford to fight upto supreme court

  8. Kailash Goyal says:

This is a surprising move bu the department in busy season of Audits and vompliance in name of ease of doing business How many people have emails and if have emails theydo not use even if use unable to understand as all the communication is in Hindi mover over it will increase sell of mobiles pe

  9. Ravindra Dave says:

I tried to update the profile data of my family for bank account details etc. The system responds with use another email id as this is already used by three assesees. Perhaps the system takes an update as a new registration !

  10. KRISHNA GOPAL TULSYAN says:

FIRST TIME LOGIN ONE MOBILE/EMAIL ID FOUR PERSON WHEN ALLOVER INDIA OBJECTION THAN 10 PERSON ALLOWED. NOW PRESENT TIME 3 PERSON WHY ARE U PUNISHED TO ADVOCATES/CA

  11. KRISHNA GOPAL TULSYAN says:

MR. JETALI SAHAB INCOMETAX WEBSITE CHANGES WORNGLY ACTION ,WHY RECANTLY AADHAR LINK WORK ALREADY COMPLETED AND SO MANY PROBLEMS FACEOUT FROM CLINTE SIDE.BUT CORRECTION WORK LIKE CLERCKIAL WORK DONE. NOW RECENTLY AGAIN SAME PROBLEM CREATED BY HON”FM SAHAB ……………..JAI HIND VANDEMATRAM

  12. S.N.Gupta says:

What happens if the income tax return is filed and after that the person leaves India for overseas job . He will not get OTP on his indian registered mobile number. His registered number in bank will require his presence in India.

  13. Prem Gupta says:

If you are tracking the I.T.a/cs.for 7 member s of your family be prepare to buy 2 Sim/phone to track your 4 remaining members. A good news for mobile maker and service provider s.

  14. GANDHI MOHAN BHARATI says:

I have a doubt. If I have more than one Account in Bank, which one I report ?
For example, I have one solely operated account another “Either or Survivor” with my wife.
    Kind clarification is sought.
Also any due date by which these updates are to be done ?

  15. HAREENDRA KHIRA says:

YOU MUST HAVE MORE MOBILE NUMBER WITH IN YOUR POCKET FOR THIS ALL AND USE ALL YOUR EMAIL ID WHICH ALSO AS UNUSED AND LIKE DEAD ACCOUNT TO BE ACTIVE WITH THIS RULES.

  16. S K SINGAL says:

Can / do already registered assessees too have to re-register with those new details ? Will the system allow such re-registration or it will show “already registered” and would not allow to proceed ?

  17. N Sreekumar says:

Change no. 2 described above seems incorrect. Mobile number and email should be unique for each PAN as experienced and commented by Sri Reghuraman. Since the mobile and email ID are used for 3 PANs, the website prompts us to change our profile by inserting new and unique mobile number and emailID

  18. venkat says:

My GOD! so m any details. what happens if something is wrong due to misunderstanding. can we change details next time. for every thing you have to check account#, IFSC code etc. plain in the neck

  19. Satish Chandavarkar says:

The changes made on the Income Tax portal is a welcome step. But the change made regarding the E-Mail ID & Mobile Number restricting it to maximum 3 assessees is not at all practical. It has made accessing the account more tedious specially for consultants & CAs. It seems the ITD is making changes on the recommendations of a group of IDIOTS without considering the practical difficulties which the assessees.might face due to such changes.

  20. G. Raghuraman says:

Thank you for this information. I have 3 earlier registered for self and 2 other family members with my email id and mobile. But tiday, I am unable to update . It is giving the error message ” this mobile no is in use for 3 persons”. What should i do
