ALL INDIA PROTEST CALL BY WMTPA

On 29th Jan 2021, outside CGST Office in Each District/City of Whole India

To, Respected
All Tax Consultant Associations, All Trade Bodies and Professional Associations
All Consultants, Professionals – CA, CMA, CS, Advocates

In recent past, All professionals and Trade is suffering a lot, due to – Frequent Changes in Law, Complex Portal, Unstable GST and Forced to work on Sundays as well. Government is neither listening to representations submitted by various associations, nor listening to court direction in true spirit. In Covid 19 pandemic, all professionals and Trade, ignoring life and death risk, ensured that, India will stand again, paid taxes in lakh crores but it seems government doesn’t recognize us. Therefore, there is high time that, we all should come together, stand united and come onto street, to protest against:

  • Rigid Approach of Government against Professionals and Trade
  • Unstable GST, Denial of Input Tax Credit, No Revision of GST Return allowed, Mid night rain of notifications, Excessive power to authorities for cancellation of Registration and Blocking of ITC, causing big harassment
  • Failed GST Portal, having numerous issues
  • Income Tax Utilities not made available on time and changed frequently, Extention of CFSS

अभी नहीं तो कभी नही।  हमें हमारे हक़ के लिए रास्तेपे उतरना होगा

We request all association and Trade bodies to come forward and join this All India Protest call by WMTPA, against rigid approach of Government. You have to do protest outside your regional CGST Office on 29th Jan 2021, on eve of “महात्मा गाँधी पुण्य स्मृतिदिन”.

Govt has a easy way out

Chase people who follow rules / slap more rules / make life difficult = implement GST – keep complicating it

    on the other side
people who evade rules / ignore them / let them have a easy life / Why ? – Because govt is busy with people who follow rules

  2. Tapas Kumar Basu says:

I am a chartered Accountant I have been practicing over 30 years I have never seen such an insensitive Finance Minstry through out my carrier as a professional.

    It is high

  6. Parvez says:

Todays needs should be addressed by the Rigid Government are GST Amnesty Scheme Extension, GST Annual Return for FY 2018-19 & 2019-20 Date Extension, Income Tax and Audit Date Extension for FY 2018-19 & 2019-20, Revocation of Late Fees charged on GSTR1, Revocation of Forceful Cancellation of GST Registration. As small tax payers can’t pay this much late fees, they are demoralise to file GST Returns. And GST Department is cancelling HST Registrations without understanding the above issue.

G S T : Good and Simple Tax, is how Dear Prime Minister launched the tax overnight. Fine, we accepted and walked along with the Government. 01-07-2017 to 31-12-2020, is a long period. Even now we intend to walk with Government hand in hand. For in unity there is progress. We are all for progress.

Dear Prime Minister: Honestly to put it in True words, GST has become “God Save the Tax Payer”. The Tax Act has become so complicated in short time, that it can beat all other old acts in its complication. So is Income Tax and other Acts. In promise to simplify the Acts they have been complicated beyond repairs.
But this is not the time to complaint and find fault or otherwise. It is time to sit face to face and resolve issues. For the times are trying for both Citizens and Government. As head of the Nation, you will not have time to get into every aspect, but you can dedicate a team that is wise enough to listen to people honestly and solve the issues.

Being stern does not help. But being humane does. help. For everything Court is not the door to be knocked. There are more avenues and honest one too. Who has the time to protest, none of us. Let us amicably tread the path and put our energies together towards progress of one n all. Mere words will not help anyone, BE THE CHANGE THAT YOU WANT. For this is the Honest way of moving ahead.
For to demolish is easy, to build is difficult.
Hope we meet in the Garden of Peace n allow the flowers to Blossom n Bloom.
Did you mean: dharmo rakshati rakshitah
    धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः

Exempt CANNED /SEALED Drinking Water from GST. We pay Rs50 for 20 Litres. Laborer wants Rs30 to lift a can. So price rising more. Metrowater not giving steady, clean, enough water. Open Wells spoilt by Rain floods aided by Govt, Ruling party & Real estate. We cannot get loose clean drinking water. So we are forced to buy Sealed can drinking water to wash, bathe, boil, cook & drink. To avoid kidney failure & stones, heart attack, blood clot, etc., we must drink 3.5 Litres water daily. Japanese say daily drinking 3.5 Litres water prevents many diseases. It is very costly. Greedy Govt levies GST on it. It keeps & feeds Illegal Bangladeshi, Rohingya at our cost. We shed blood, Sweat, tears & toil to grow food, Goods & services, fight Covid, etc. All used by Govt to cover building & maintenance costs of Statue of Unity to give jobs to Gujarat & get votes. We avoid drinking enough water to SAVE GST & High price of it. Govt is insensitive & arrogant.

Sir I welcome the decision w r also shake hands with this decision. I say some to traders and our professional that why we r not unite.Traders and we r the build the nation economy and we give our service to the govt and traders. We r very badly affected mentally and financially.bcas no.of return filed every month but there is no rest and not spend even single day with family. I once again remember that in the beginning of gst they r hardly charged late fees per day Rs.200/- at that also v r give representation and finally they reduce Rs.50/- And Rs.20/- for nil return. From July 2017 there is lot of changes in gst rule and regulation.before implementation of laws govt should gather opinions from traders and experts and prof.but they r not accept our representation in many times. V r reday to work even 18 hrs per day but there is no satisfaction to do that due to various fees interest and penalty. I am very sorry to say that sir in our country how many political parties and leaders should give their money and their wealth to govt. Sir I think to draft letters all of our MP and MLA’s to withdraw the hard rules and simplify gst rules. If person pay late fees every month they are affected because of some reason how many officials r taking responsibility and asking those traders what is the problem.even v r directly go to Gst and income tax office and they say only there is rules we r not do anything even we request them to suggest in your side what the dealers r affected in many areas they simply saying w r not do that w r not having powers.God only save our professionals.

  11. Radha Krishna Ramagiri says:

Every hard working employee expects recognition & motivation irrespective whether he’s a government or private employee. If not, his morale & loyalty will naturally go down. 16. R. K. KOTIAN says:

I STONGLY SUPORT THE CALL FOR PROTEST.

IT HAS BECOME A HABIT OF GOVT DEPARTMENTS TO ABUSE TAX PROFESSIONAL BY WAHTEVER MEANS POSSIBLE.

WHEN TRAINS ARE NOT WORKING AND WE ARE NOT ALLOW4ED TO TRAVEL FREELY HOW COME THE WORK CAN BE DONE IN A SUITABLE OR EFFICIENT MANNER.

IT SURELY TELLS ON THE BEURACRACY. THEY ARE INSENSITIVE THINK ONLY ABOUT THEMSELVES AND DO NOT REALISE THE GROUND REALITIES.

THEY THINK THAT THE TAX REVENUE COMES TO THEM BY KILLING THE GOOSE THAT LAYS GOLDEN EGGS.

HOPE GOOD SENSE PREPAVAILS WITH THE DEPARTMENT.

  17. subodh says:

in india most of the people have habit of not compeleting work on time. and hope for extension, this clamouring for extension reminds me my school days where we use to hope exam will be differed. most of the company assessee don’t do there work on time and clamour for extension

  18. RAMESH VORA says:

FINMIN AND ITS ASSOCIATED BUREAUCRATS STAND ON ALL THESE ISSUES ARE INHUMAN APPROACH, INSENSITIVE, AND LACK OF PRACTICALITIES. IT IS AGAINST THE DEMANDS OF ALL ASSOCIATIONS , SOME OF THE MPS, MLAs, AND a LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY,

  19. PK says:

If you practitioners are taking more clients than you can serve , you will never be able to meet the deadline. so stop this non sense. when we can comply with the law , why can t western MH do it. Cenral excise Act was from the 1940’s , never settled till 2017 . This GST is just 4 year old . So changes to the law basis the new findings is quite natural. your protest must be against the corrupt practitioners who are advising clients on evading taxes . Hope this resentment is not for the culprits who were caught , evading the GST .

  20. Narendra singh says:

CBDT while rejecting request of various organisations of CAa/Tax professional for further exteding due dates for filing ITRs n tax audit has given citation of various countries in their order u/s 119 of IT Act justifying rejection .
