I have forgotten my password. How do I retrieve my password?
To retrieve your password, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Access the www.gst.gov.in URL. The GST Home page is displayed.
2. Click the EXISTING USER LOGIN button.
3. The Login page is displayed. Click the Forgot Password link, given below the LOGIN button.
4. The Forgot Password page is displayed. In the Username field, type the username that you created while enrolling with GST.
5. In the Type the characters you see in the image below field, type the captcha text shown on the screen.
6. Click the GENERATE OTP button. The One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered e-mail address and mobile number.
7. In the Enter OTP field, enter the OTP that was sent to your e-mail address and mobile number.
8. Click the CONTINUE button.
Note:
In case your OTP is expired and you want to receive the OTP again on your e-mail address and mobile phone number, click the RESEND OTP link.
9. In the New Password field, enter a password of your choice that you will be using from next time onwards.
10. In the Re-confirm Password field, reenter the password.
Note:
Password should be of 8 to 15 characters which should comprise of at least one number, one special character, one upper case and one lower case letter.
11. Click the CONTINUE button.
12. The Security Questions page is displayed. Enter the answers to security questions that you had mentioned during first-time enrolling with GST.
13. Click the SUBMIT button.
GST Addl. Commissioner passed an order for unpaid GST of FY2015-16 ordering payment of GST due with interest and penalties totalling to about Rs.32,000. The gave a temporary ID and password through email. Whenever I try to login message comes “user ID or password is incorrect ” I made two visits to GST office but they are not helpful. How to pay under these circumstances.
Go to login page. Instead of typing your temporary ID in the username please see below (i) icon where it says – First time login: If you are logging in for the first time, click here to log in. Here enter your Provisional ID and pw received by you in mail. Now you will be asked to create a new user ID and password. If you still have a problem you have to visit GST office only.

Go to your GST range office, Give a application regarding your problem for change user ID and password and also write your mobile no and email id in same letter. then they will provide user id and new password.
Sir I am also facing similar problem where I am unable to login due to wrong email and mobile number. I have submitted an application to my GST officer to change the contact details, but he is not able to help. Is there any solution to this problem.

sir i have company maa danteshwari contruction in jagdalpur chhattisgarh having tin 22362402280 but i do not know my password because someone is using my provisonal id when i go to the sales tax office they give me my provisonal id then i try to login my id, then i saw someone is using my id my mobile no is not showing and my mail id is not match. So sir i have requested to you please help me for start my gst no.
