There are many assessees who are still in the process of migration & many files have not been yet converted at the GST portal as final due to some technical and procedural problems. Also, there are problems in respect of claim of ITC in filing of GST Returns.

For the existing assessees, who are registered under VAT, Central Excise and Service Tax, etc., have been allowed time up to 22.09.2017 for migration.

Suggestions:

Government should extend the date of composite scheme upto30.09.2017 as well as the dates of filing GST Returns should be extended.

People of India will face a lot of problems and trading activities will also suffer due to small limits and procedures laid down in respect of e-way bill requirement from 16.08.2017 for which large relaxations are necessary as well as the further extension of date for its compliance.

The group insurance scheme should be launched for the persons registered in GST Portal as was in VAT system in some states of India.

    Season’s greetings to you.

We are sure you will very well understand the most of the Indians believe in Almighty.

It is fixed August 25th Friday as the extended due date for filing the GSTR3B. The day falls on Lord Sri Ganesh Chaturti which will be worshipped by most of the Indians.

Can the Central Government deprive them of celebrating the festival by concentrating more on filing only statutory returns.

Lord Ganapa is Vigna Nivaraka and for successful transition of new era of GST with his blessings, we suggest your good self to postpone to 31st August 2017 including TRANS 1 which is due for 28th

August and enable the stakeholders, Auditors , GST Suvidha Providers, Practitioners, etc to enjoy the festival which comes only ONCE in a year and GST is repeated every month….!

    With Best Regards

in some cases their is some technical problem in opting composition scheme. portal is not showing option of composition scheme.help desk tells there are more than 9 lakh traders who are facing problem in opting composition scheme

  3. Praveen says:

The central government should extend the date to opt for composition scheme as small traders are still not clear about the whole GST process. If the date is not extended than small traders will be forced to close down their business.

In my case there was a lot of technical problem to migrate to GST,I just now migrated to GST but last day to opt Composition levy was 16th of Aug,So i request for extension to opt composition scheme.

FOR SMALL TRADERS IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO WORK IN REGULAR SCHEME IN GST , SO I REQUESTED GST COUNCIL TO EXTENDED THE COMPOSITE SCHEME UP TO 30-09-2017. FOR THE WELFARE OF SMALL TRADERS OF INDIA

  6. HATINDER KHANNA says:

DUE TO NEW SYSTEM OF GST THE SMALL TRADERS SUFFERS DUE TO SITE WORKING SLOW AND FORMALITIES REQUIRES TO UPLOAD DOCUMENTS , SOME ARE NOT ABLE TO OPT COMPOSITION SCHEME , I REQUESTED THE GOVT. TO EXTEND THE DATE OF COMPOSITION SCHEME UP TO 30-09-2017

  7. R M Office says:

In Many Cases for those who got migrated duly, option of Services to opt composition is not available. There is none of fault of Dealer. It Was just because of System errors.
In Many cases for Newly Enrolled dealers, who failed to opt at the time of making application, Some provision should be made by Govt.

  8. MAHENDRA S says:

Many dealers who are wiling to opt for Composition levy and have not selected the Option at the time of applying while new Registration are not able to opt for Composition Levy for FY 2017-18.
It will be undue hardship upon these dealers with Small Turnover and Varying number of Quantities in stocks traded by them to maintain such records on monthly basis. These are Kirana dealers, Cloth and ready-made Garments Stores, Daily Needs stores etc.
The Goods sold by them are directly to end users and mostly Consists of Small Invoices contributing to Turnover they deal. Moreover many of such dealers deals in goods of all rates as prescribed in GST (i.e. 0%, 5%, 12% and 28%) and it is very difficult for them to make INVOICES charging GST at such varied rates. However in Composition they are supposed to make INVOICE without separate levy of GST in invoices made by them.
considering the facts of problems being faced, Govt should give time for Composition to both migrated as well as New registered.

  9. amit says:

The on-line form for opting composition was made available by 25 July onwards, and time was only upto 16 Aug. Futher many small dealer still have not migrated and also some who migrated before due date for composition, were not enabled form to opt composition on gst dealers on-line portal. This will create complication for small dealers and natural unjust. Hence we want the due date for opting composition be extended & also thanks to TAXGURU & wish recommend in this matter.
