Notification No. 59/2000-Customs

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) specified in column (2) of the Table annexed hereto, shall be amended or further amended, as me case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.

(a) after serial number 54 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be
inserted, namely:-

(b) for serial number 55 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be
substituted, namely:-

“55. 2701.12 All goods other than coking coal 25%  – “;
2. 26/2000-Customs,
dated the 1st
March, 2000
(i) condition (3) shall be omitted;(ii) in the Table,-

(a) LIST-4 shall be omitted,

(b) in LIST-5, in column 2, in item 1, for sub-item (a), the following shall besubstituted, namely:-
” (a) goods mentioned in lists 1,2 and 3 and Notification No. 60/2000-Cus., dated 12-5-2000“.
