The circular is issued under Section 14(1) of the PFRDA Act, 2013, read with Regulation 18 and 19 of the PFRDA (CRA) Regulations. It bears the digital signature of K. Mohan Gandhi, Chief General Manager.

5. Process Flow for Different CRAs

  • CAMS CRA: Subscribers can log in, click on contribution, initiate contribution, and select virtual account status. The QR code is then scanned through any UPI app.
  • KFin-CRA: Subscribers need to visit the eNPS login page, click on the transaction menu, and choose “Subsequent Contribution.” Upon selecting the payment mode as “UPI,” the QR code for the respective account type is scanned through any UPI app.
  • Protean CRA: Subscribers can visit the e-NPS contributions page and authenticate. Alternatively, they can log in to their NPS account, choose “Contribute Online” under the “Transact Online” tab, and select the same-day investment option. Unique QR codes are displayed for scanning.

6. Conclusion

With this innovative step, PFRDA ensures a more convenient and efficient contribution process for NPS subscribers. The introduction of QR codes aligns with the authority’s commitment to providing an enhanced digital experience.
