#1 Chartered Accountancy( CA)

CA or Chartered Accountancy Course is the best course in Commerce Stream. This course opens the door for unnumbered career opportunities. You can work as a Tax Consultant, an auditor, an advisor, a financial officer or anything on the basis of your specialization and have high salary job in any corporate sector. Although this course requires lots of hard work, it gives the most promising and rewarding job.

Admission in the course of CA course is given through the Entrance Exam and it is taken in levels. The initial level may seem easy to the CA fresher but its higher level i.e IPCC & CA finals are harder to crack. Chartered Accountancy is the highest paying job and the best course after 12th commerce. 

#2 Company Secretary Program (CS)

CS or Company Secretary Program is the Professional course which is provided by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. A Company Secretary does all the regulatory agreement of the company and they are treated as an in-house legal expert. After completing the CS program, you can work independently or you can also go for a job in the corporate world.

CA students often refer to this field also. You can make a good career through the combination of CA and CS programs.

#3 CMA

CMA stands for Cost and Management Account which is provided by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or ICAI. CMA’s maintain cost accounting records, do cost auditing, and also work in planning, controlling and costing of products. The CMA course opens up many job opportunity in which you can choose your stream according to your interest.

#4. B.Com. & B.Com(Hons.)

B.Com stands for Bachelor of Commerce. It is an Undergraduate degree which can be pursued by Commerce stream students as well as Arts and Science stream students. It is an extensive form of specialization in a particular subject. Also, the industries prefer B.Com. (Hons) then a general B.Com student. However, a B.Com degree proves itself handy even when you are performing a professional course such as CA, CS etc.

#5 Bachelor In Economics

This is another course after 12th Commerce students after Intermediate. Here in this UG program, you will get practical knowledge about various economic concepts and policies. If you like the field of economy and want to gain more experience in it, this field can be your choice. This can be an extra advantage if you want to go to Indian Administrative Services (IAS).

#6 BBA

BBA stands for Bachelor in Business Administrative. As all the above course, this course has also a duration of 3 years. From this field, you can explore various aspects of Business. So, if you want to make your carrier in Management and Business, this field can be your choice. After BBA, you can go for MBA studies and can be well placed high salaried employee or Businessman in future.

#7 BMS

BMS stands for Bachelor of Management Studies. This is another management course in Undergraduate Programs for Commerce Students. This is also a 3 years duration course which helps you to gain practical knowledge about leadership and managerial skills. BMS is a growing field and one of the most rising courses after 12th commerce. 

#8 BCA

BCA is the field for the students who want to explore the computer field with the language knowledge. You can pursue BCA with IT & Software for the duration of 3 years. Any student who has passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 55% can pursue BCA.

• BCA entrance exams: BU-MAT, SET, GSAT

#9 CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)

CFA Program stands for Chartered Financial Analyst Program. This is another Professional course after CA & CS. But this course after 12th commerce requires higher eligibility Criteria.
Eligibility for CFA-

• 4-years bachelor’s degree
• 4 years of work experience
• Passport is mandatory to enroll in this programme and for the exams

If you don’t have the work experience which is required to fulfill eligibility criteria, you will get your certifications when you complete it. CFA course has a duration of  2-5 years generally. Also, there is no limit to attempt the exams, you can attempt for any number of times you want to.

#10 Diploma Course after 12th Commerce

Other than the above degree courses after 12th commerce, you can also go for diploma courses after 12th in Commerce stream. Even Diploma course from a good college gives promising jobs options. Also, as the Diploma courses do not take too long for its completion and gives knowledge in a particular field, it is also a job oriented course among all.
