Applicant shall file separate application for each port of export in case of Non EDI Shipping bills. In case of EDI shipping bills, the applicant can file a single application containing shipping bills of different EDI ports. Accordingly shipments from different EDI ports will not require separate applications.

RAs shall henceforth consider applications seeking modification in IEC, involving change in PAN, by ensuring that liabilities of the previous applicant/applicant firm are transferred to the new applicant/applicant firm whose PAN will be reflecting in the modified IEC. RA’s must also share the modified IEC, with the changed PAN incorporated in it, with all concerned authorities.
Australia, Canada, Japan and South Korea have been added in the Appendix-2X under Foreign Trade Policy, 2015 – 20. In addition to countries already included herein, import of Textiles and Textile Articles from these countries is also exempted from testing of samples for presence of Azo Dyes.
Export of edible oils (other than those mentioned in Para 3 of the said Notification) is permitted in branded consumer packs of upto 5 Kgs with a Minimum Export Price of USD 900 per MT.
The procedure for declaration of intent in Paragraph 3.14(a) of the Handbook of Procedures 201 5-20 for EDI is simplified. The marking of tick in pursuance of the earlier Public Notice No.47, dated 8th December 2015 shall be treated as declaration of intent in case of EDI shipping bills. The marking of tick in the appropriate tick boxes are mandatory in EDI shipping bills.
