Central Government hereby makes the following amendments, with immediate effect, in the Appendix 3 to Schedule -2 of ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 2018, as notified in DGFT Notification No. 47/2015-20 dated 31.01.2018 :
Import of Fresh Ginger wholly produced in Nepal, classified under Exim Code 0910 11 10, is ‘Free’ subject to Article IV & V of Indo-Nepal Treaty of Trade.
Restriction on import of Peas classified under Exim Code 0713 10 00 (including Yellow peas, Green peas, Dun peas and Kaspa peas) is extended for a further period of three months, i.e., till 30.09.2018.
Wherever any application for supplementary claim is received, within specified time limits, such application may also be considered after imposing a cut @2% on the entitlement. However, no supplementary claims for scrips under chapter 3 of the FTP 2015-20 would be admissible.
A new application format for grant of duty credit scrips under Services Exports from India Scheme (SEIS) is notified, for all SEIS applications with immediate effect.
Prohibition on import of milk and milk products (including chocolates and chocolate products and candies/ confectionary/ food preparations with milk or milk solids as an ingredient) from China is extended for a further period of six months, i.e., till 23.12.2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
It is clarified that Service Providers like Steamer Agents, etc. shall be entitled for benefits under Service Exports from India Scheme for the services exclusively rendered by them and for which the foreign exchange earnings (or INR payments as allowed under the scheme) are received and retained by them on this account.
