Even as the Andhra Pradesh high court granted bail to B Ramalinga Raju, the prime accused in the Satyam Computers multi-billion-rupee scam, on Wednesday, citing his ill health as one of the reasons, doctors at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad said that there was a significant improvement in his Hepatitis B condition. Hyderabad: The special court dealing with the multi-crore Satyam scam case on Monday adjourned examination and hearing of charges against the accused to July 29. Examination and hearing of charges against 10 Satyam personnel accused of fudging books of account of the company, including disgraced former chairman B Ramalinga Raju, will commence on July 29. The CBI is planning to question ex-Satyam chairman B Ramalinga Raju via video conferencing as he continues to dodge the special CBI court's summons in connection with the multi-crore fraud in the IT firm he founded. Raju, the prime accused in the scam, is suffering from Hepatitis-C and is currently undergoing treatment at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) here. Full Article
