MCA releases Form No. 23AC-XBRL and Form No. 23ACA-XBRL for reporting in XBRL format

Companies may have to file balance sheet in XBRL form from July 2011

The government said it is planning to make it mandatory for corporates to file balance sheets with it in data form, using XBRL (eXtensible business reporting language) technology, from next fiscal.
