Several instances have come to the notice of DGFT wherein several IECs get allocated when the applicant does not indicate the full name of the individuals. Hence it is now being made mandatory that full name (in the order – First Name, Middle Name and Last Name) should be filled up, without using any abbreviations wherever in ANF2A the name of an individual is required to be filled up.

NOTIFICATION No. 93 (RE-2010)/2009-2014 As per the extant policy provisions enshrined in FTP and SEZ Act, 2005, export permission is required for supply of SOMET items from DTA to SEZ. With this notification, no such permission will be required. Policy Circular No. 51(RE-2010)/2009-14 Through Notification No. 40 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 31.03.2011, export of cotton yarn was made “Free” subject to registration of export contracts with DGFT, for ITC(HS) Code 5205, 5206 & 5207. Procedure for registration of contracts of cotton yarn was notified through Policy Circular No. 27 of 01.04.2011. Notification No 91 (RE – 2010)/2009-2014 – India has extended ban on import of milk and its products from China for another six months, according to the foreign trade office. The ban was in effect till December 24. “Prohibition on import of milk and milk products (including chocolates and chocolate products and candies/ confectionery/ food preparations with milk or milk solids as an ingredient) from China is further extended till 24.6.2012 or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said in a notification.
