How to Reset Password on Income tax Website – www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
1. Click on forget password Link – Link
2. Enter your PAN on Screen which appears after above click and Press OK.
3. Please select on of the three option which appears after the above click
- Enter Secret question answer
- Enter E-filing Acknowledgement No.and Bank Account No.as mentioned in E-Return of AY11-12
- Enter PAN details
Once you fill the required details as per the choice of option you opted you will be able to either reset of recover your password for your account on https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do.
Under First two options you can reset the password online , while in 3rd option password will be mailed to your registered email id.

HOW TO SOLVE THE PASSWORD OF ASSESS WHEN REGISTER BEFORE. AT PRESENT THE ASSESS WANTS E-FILLING THROUGH ME BUT THE LAST PROFESSIONAL MAN WAS NOT GIVEN ANY DOCUMENT SUCH AS ANY LAST YEAR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. IN THIS VIEW I HAVE NOT RECOLLECT ANY USER ID AND PASSWORD. PLEASE HELP ME ON THAT MATTER
