I really appreciate and follow your article.I will be cirtainly following the above practise from next year.

But this is my humble experience that times are changing & competition is immense. At your times the whole senario was different. Therefore its very difficult to leave your client & so harsh with them.

It is suggested to all types of assesses not to wait for last moment rush . ( 31/st ) or 30/09/
You are getting sufficient times to file your Tax returns with in due date(s). CBDT is kind enough to extent the date till 31/08/2012. Vide Notification dated – Press Release no 402/92/2006-MC ( 20 of 2012 ) dated 0108/2012 for those assesses to file their tax returns by E- filing ONLY . the reasons are best known by the tax payers . The print and other medias are focusing that the due date has been extended up to 31/08/2012. Those are the victims for last moment rush ,will always miss the TRAIN. For paper filling to the Income Tax departments , the Income Tax Authority tried to advise / assisted to file the tax returns even on Holidays , besides several steps have been taken by the Income Tax Department. Kindly note that how many assesses will submit e-filling by 10/08/2012 / 16/08/2012 ? They will again wait for last week of August 2012. I as a small practitioner and a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India , since 1970 I am watching the system ( mind set ) of the assesses will never changed. We worked overnight from 20th to 29th July 2012 and assisted my clients to get their tax returns filed by latest by 30/07/2012.And categorically requested them not to insist us in coming years after June every year , unless other wise change in Finance Act of India . Our personal returns has been submitted with in first week of July 2012. Many of my clients are in opinion that they can file ( not e-filling ) after 15 th of August 2012. Let them happy with their thinking.”Jo karna Hay to Turant karo , Bad me pastane hoga”
They are ALL master of Income Tax Laws.

In view of the various provisions of I.T.Act, it is defined that the returns of various assessees i.e. individual, companies etc. are to be filed before the due dates specified. It is the assessees or the CAs are delayaing the date of filing the return and dragged to the last date. This time by the last date the electricity played an hindrance, thereby the time for filing the returns have been extended.

  4. S.PRAKASH says:

It is welcome, but what about the returns to be filed by 30/09/2012?It is the habit of the assessess to wait till last date. For all the returns 31.03. should be made as last date.
