MAHARASHTRA VALUE ADDED TAX ACT, 2002.
No. VAT 1515/CR-169/Taxation-1—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Maharashtra Value Added Tax Act, 2002 (Mah. IX of 2005), the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from 2nd January 2016, amends Schedule ‘A’ appended to the said Act, namely :—
In the Maharashtra Value Added Tax Act, 2002, in Schedule ‘A’, after entry 12A, the following entry shall be inserted, namely :—
| “12B. | Drugs and medical equipment used in dialysis for the treatment of patients suffering from kidney disease, as may be notified from time to time, by the State Government, in the Official Gazette. | Nil% “ |

No. VAT 1515/CR-169/Taxation-1.—In exercise of the powers conferred by entry 12B of Schedule ‘A’ appended to the Maharashtra Value Added Tax Act, 2002 (Mall. DC of 2005), the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from 2nd January 2016, notifies the following drugs and medical equipments, more particularly mentioned in the Schedule appended hereto, to be the drugs and medical equipments used for the treatment of patients suffering from kidney disease on dialysis, whether sold under a generic name or a brand name for the purposes of the said entry, namely :—
