CBI Arrests Secretary-General & Director General of Organising Committee CWG-2010 in on-going Investigation of a CWG Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation has today arrested the Director General and the then Secretary-General of organising committee CWG-2010 in the on-going investigation of a CWG case pertaining to procurement of Timing, Scoring and Result (TSR) system.
CBI had earlier registered a regular case on the allegations that certain OC officials had entered into a criminal conspiracy with representatives of a Swiss Company and awarded the contact for TSR system at an exorbitant cost of Rs. 107 crores in a pre-mediated manner, thereby causing huge loss to the Government
The arrested accused will be produced tomorrow (24.02.2011) in the court of Special Judge, CBI cases Delhi.
