CBI arrests eight dummy candidates for appearing in All India Pre-Medical Test- 2011
The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against some of the medical courses aspiring candidates for securing admission in Medical Colleges in India through All India Pre-Medical Test-2011 with the help of dummy candidates.
In this regards, raids were conducted today i.e. 15.05.2011 at CBSE, AIPMT Kolkata Examination Centers to apprehend those candidates who had appeared as dummy candidates on behalf of such aspiring candidates. As outcome of the said raid, 8 dummy candidates, including facilitators, have been arrested. It has also been found that the arrested dummy candidates are the students of different medical colleges and had appeared for the candidates in lieu of huge money already paid to them.
Further investigation is continuing.
