Custom Duty -Amends notification no. 22/2003 – Exemption to the specified goods, works of art, antiques, paper money, wollen apparels etc. received as gift by Indian Red Cross etc

Notification No. 15/2011-Customs, New Delhi, the 1st March, 2011

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 22/2003-Customs, dated the 4th February, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide G.S.R. 78 (E), dated the 4th February, 2003, namely:-

In the said notification, in the TABLE annexed thereto, Sl. Nos. 4, 5 and 6 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.

Note: The principal notification No. 22/2003-Customs, dated the 4th February, 2003 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide G.S.R. 78 (E), dated the 4th February, 2003 and was last amended by notification No. 67/2004-Customs, dated the 9th July, 2004 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide G.S.R. 409 (E) dated the 9th July, 2004.
