Circular Amending Notification No. 20/2006-Customs, dated 1st March, 2006

New Delhi, the 3^rd December, 2009 , Notification  No. 130/2009-Customs

G.S.R.    (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1^st March, 2006 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 92(E), dated the 1^st March, 2006, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No. 4, for the entry in column (3), the entry, “Fertilizers and all inputs/ raw materials for use in the manufacture of fertilizers” shall be substituted;

Note: The principal notification No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1^st March, 2006 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 92(E), dated the 1^st March, 2006 and was last amended by notification No. 97/2008-Customs, dated the 18^th August, 2008 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 599(E), dated the 18^th August, 2008.
