Amends Notification No. 14/2010-Customs, dated the 20th February, 2010

Notification No.86/2011-Customs, Dated- 6^thSeptember, 2011

G.S.R.     (E).- Whereas, in the matter of import of Cold-Rolled Flat products of Stainless Steel of the width of 600 mm up to 1250 mm of all series further worked then Cold Rolled (cold reduced) with a thickness of up to 4mm, originating in or exported from China PR, Japan, Korea, European Union, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and USA,  (hereinafter referred to as the subject goods), falling under heading 7219 of the First Schedule of the Custom Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), originating in or exported from China PR,  EU, Japan, Korea, South Africa Taiwan, Thailand and USA, (hereinafter referred to as the subject countries), the Central Government had imposed anti-dumping duty on the subject goods, vide notification no. 14/2010-Customs dated 20^th February, 2010 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R.95 (E), dated the 20^th  February,2010.

2. Whereas, on the basis of the Final Findings (Mid-Term Review) Notification No. 15/16/2009- DGAD, dated 8^th June, 2011 of the  designated authority, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the said Customs Tariff Act, read with rules 18 and 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 14/2010-Customs, dated the 20^th  February,2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 95 (E), dated the 20^th  February,2010,namely:-

In the said notification, in para 1, after the Table, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

“(a): Width tolerance  of (+) 30mm shall apply to Mill edged, Cold-rolled flat products of stainless steel of specified width of 1000mm or more but not exceeding 1250 mm.

(b): Width tolerance of (+)4mm shall apply to Trim edged Cold rolled flat products of stainless steel of specified width exceeding 1000mm but not exceeding 1250mm.”
