Rules to amend the Companies (Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms, 1956

NOTIFICATION 

New Delhi, the 26th March, 2011

G.S.R. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 642 read with section 610E of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956 ), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies ( Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, namely :-

1.  (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms, (Amendment), Rules 2011.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .

2.  In the Companies (Central Government’s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, in Annexure ‘A’, in Form 61, for serial number 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely :-

” 6. Application filed for -

  • Compounding of offences
  • Extension of period of annual general meeting by three months under section 166 (1)
  • Extending the period of annual accounts upto eighteen months under section 210 (4)
  • Declaring a defunct company under section 560
  • Scheme of arrangement, amalgamation
  • Normalising a dormant company
  • Others”.
