Section 637 of the Companies Act, 1956 – Delegation by Central Government of its powers and functions under Act – Powers & functions delegated to Registrar of Companies for specified provisions of Act – Corrigendum to Notification No. G.S.R. 222(E), dated 17-3-2011
CORRIGENDUM [F.NO. 5/7/2011-CL V], DATED 1-5-2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 637 of the Companies Act, 1956, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to paragraph 2 of the notification GSR No. 222(E) dated 17th March, 2011: -
“The notification shall come into force for the delegation of the powers and functions under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 from Regional Directors to Registrar of Companies w.e.f. 1st May, 2011 :
Provided further that applications received by the Regional Directors under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 during the period 17th March, 2011 till 30th April, 2011 will be dealt by the concerned Regional Directors.”
