MCA notifies ‘Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited’ as Public financial institution u/s. 4A of the Companies Act, 1956

Section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 – Public financial institutions – Notified public financial institutions – Amendment in Notification No. S.O. 1329, dated 8-5-1978 – NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 2223(E), DATED 26-09-2011

SECTION 4A OF THE COMPANIES ACT, 1956 – PUBLIC FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS – NOTIFIED PUBLIC FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS – AMENDMENT IN NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 1329, DATED 8-5-1978

NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 2223(E), DATED 26-9-2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of l956), the Central Government hereby further to make amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 13-5-1978 in the erstwhile Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) vide Number S.O. 1329, dated the 8-5-1978, namely :‑

In the said Notification, after serial number 58 and entry relating thereto, the following serial number and entry shall be added, namely :‑

“59. Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited.”
