This is in respect to the Multipurpose Empanelment Form for the year 2014-15.

This is to inform that Multipurpose Empanelment Form for the year 2014-15 has been made live at www.meficai.org. Last date for submission of online form is 4th August, 2014 and the last date of submission of hard copy of “DECLARATION FOR MEF 2014-15” is 14th August, 2014.

Here, I would like to emphasise that empanelment form is meant for every full time practicing member/firm and not only for those desirous of empanelling themselves for Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel as UCN will be allotted to the non-eligible applicants for Bank Branch Auditors’ panel also so that their data can be sent to the requisite authorities for other bank audits and other assignments. However, the following applicant will not be allotted UCN:

  1. Member practicing in his individual name not holding full time CoP and/or associated as partner/ proprietor/Chartered Accountant employee in any other firm.
  2. In case of firm, if none of partner/proprietor is
    1. exclusively associated# with the firm.
    2. holding fulltime Certificate of Practice (CoP).

The Professional Development Committee, ICAI will also be using the panel formed on the basis of this MEF form for panel to various requesting authorities/regulators. Therefore, it is requested that all the fields of the form should be filled-in/replies be given, including of the questions related to experience of the applicant in various other sector/professional assignments. The information/ replies shall be correct and based on the related document/evidence so as to avoid the delay and causing in-eligibility.

Being necessary it is suggested that before going directly to the MEF form, applicant should first go through the “Points which shall be carefully read and be taken care for Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the year 2014-15”.

In case applicant faces any problem of any sort, they may login the complaint at the Complaint Centre available at http://www.meficai.org/complaints/complaint_enrty_enter.jsp .

If the complaint logged therein is not resolved within three working days, the applicant may call at 011-30110444, 30110438, 30110440, 30110451, 30110480 and 30110508.

In case the issue is not resolved through complaint center and the telephonic call, you may mail to the Secretary, PDC (secretarypdc@icai.in) under copy to me.

With warm regards

Yours sincerely,
(CA. Shyam Lal Agarwal)
