Policy Circular No. 49 (RE-2010)/2009-14 – As and when Customs (CBEC) have conveyed their readiness to implement on-line message exchange between Customs and DGFT, Policy Circulars have been issued from time to time by DGFT indicating the names and Port Codes of such Customs Ports where EDI facility would be available. Such Policy Circulars issued in past are listed below:

PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 86/ (RE-2010)/2009-2014 In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the following correction is made in description of export item under Sl. No 1011, Product Code-62 Chemicals of the DEPB Rate Schedule.

PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 85 /(RE-2010)/2009-2014 This export product is an engineering polymer commonly known as Teflon. A new SION has been fixed for this.

Notification No. 89 (RE-2010)/2009-14 – The stipulation that raw material for export of meat and meat products must be sourced exclusively from APEDA registered abattoir/integrated abattoir will come into effect on 15.06.2012, instead of 31.10.2011.

Notification No 90 (RE – 2010)/2009-2014 – For export of Empty Gelatin capsule to EU, CAPEXIL will be the competent authority for issuance of shipment clearance certificate. Post shipment Health certificate will be issued jointly by CAPEXIL and Regional Animal Quarantine Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.

Notification No. 88 (RE – 2010)/2009-2014, Export of 10,000 tons of non-basmati rice to Horn of Africa (Kenya, Somalia & Djibouti) from Central Pool Stock of FCI at economic cost has been permitted.

Notification No 87 (RE – 2010)/2009-2014 – In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby exempts the following items to Bhutan from any export ban, with the annual limits indicated against each:

Policy Circular No. 48 (RE-2010)/2009-14 – Public Notice No. 59 (RE-2010)/2009-14 dated 30.06.2011 had stipulated incorporation of barcodes (1 D) encoding unique product identification code (GTIN), Batch Number, Expiry Date and Unique Serial Number on export consignments of pharmaceuticals and drugs with effect from 01.10.2011. It is clarified that the above barcoding requirement is applicable only in respect of finished pharmaceutical products i.e. medical formulations and not Bulk drugs/APIs/Intermediates.

Notification No 86 (RE – 2010)/2009-2014 -Minimum Export Price (MEP) of all varieties of onions except Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions will be US$ 250 per Metric Ton F.O.B. It was US$ 350 per Metric Ton as notified on 18.11.2011. For Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions it will be US$ 300 per MT F.O.B instead of US$ 400 per MT as notified on 18.11.2011.

This is in continuation of this office Trade Notice No. 17 dated 23.8.2011. All Export Promotion Councils / Commodity Boards / Authorities were requested that the registration process and uploading of RCMC data thereafter may be completed by 31.10.2011. If EPC’s /Commodity Boards /Authorities fail to register and upload data on DGFT’s website within the prescribed time limit as stated above, the ’on-line’ registration of RCMC issued by EPC’s /Commodity Boards /Authorities on DGFT’s website would be made mandatory w.e.f. 1.11.2011, after which no manual copy of RCMC / Registration Certificate will be entertained by DGFT offices.
