“If BPO services are exported, refund of all input taxes is available to the BPO because those services would otherwise be taxable in India. However, if software consultancy services are exported, no refund of input taxes is available because software services are not on the list of taxable services”

We are exporting BPO Services. Can any one pls help me by Providing the PROCEDURE to be FOLLOWED to file the application for REFUND (various FORMS and DOCS to be submitted) with the Service Tax Authorities and the due dates/ time lines accordingly.————– I NEED IT ASAP.

The Income Tax Calculator launched by Taxguru  helps us so much. But , when we paid the salary to staffs, we deduct profession tax from the employees.

When a person calculate tax liability against salary, the said Profession tax has to be deducted from the Gross salary.

So, we feel uncomfortable in the absence of  ” Profession Tax “deduction in the Income Tax  Calculator software for accurate Tax Liability.

Request to update the Software at earliest.

Against one such Contract between Seller and Buyer the Commission / Fee received from Seller is in Foreign Exchange of Euros 19,200 (about 13 lacs INR) received/credited to my Bank on April 20 2012. Basic Understanding way back was my appointment as Distributor in India with remuneration as Commission. I am not yet registered for Service Tax.
